‘Like we were waiting to get beat’published at 22:36 GMT 3 December
FT: Wolves 0-1 Nott’m Forest

Wolves boss Rob Edwards speaking to Sky Sports: “Really disappointed. Pretty angry from the levels on Sunday we got nowhere near that. We lost the game in the first half, no intensity. Didn’t take risks, played too safe. It was almost like we were waiting to get beat and that hurts. Bit of a reaction in second half but not enough. Really disappointing night.
“I was looking forward to tonight, if we could’ve kept that level up from the weekend this was a game we could win. It wasn’t a good game of football. I think if we had hit where we were on Sunday we could’ve got something from the game, could’ve won it.
“It wasn’t a reflection of what I want my team to look like. The lads knew at half-time we weren’t happy, there was a bit of a reaction but we need more. We kept going, got into some good areas, Jhon Arias could’ve got a goal and one or two half chances. But we have to be more ruthless, we have to find more.
“I don’t think we gave loads away. I’m not going to blame quality, we have to find the answers. It was only three days ago that there was a lot of quality on show. It’s there but we have to bring it out of ourselves.”
Mental or physical problems? “Both – mentality and physical. We have to find a way to bring out the best in ourselves. The crowd will be with us if we show intent. They want to get behind the team but you have to run, fight and look like you want to win. That wasn’t there tonight.
“We knew it was a big challenge coming in. That’s really evident. We’ll work to try and turn things around. We saw progress in the last week but this is a setback. We have to work hard to put things right in the next week.”
