Doncic (personal) out against Raptors

The Los Angeles Lakers will make their annual trip north of the border on Thursday, but Luka Doncic won’t be in the lineup.
The team announced Wednesday that the Slovenian superstar will miss the game against the Toronto Raptors for personal reasons.
Guard Marcus Smart will also miss the game with lower-back pain management.
Doncic, 26, is in his first full season with the Lakers following last February’s blockbuster trade with the Dallas Mavericks. He’s appeared in 16 games for the team this season and is averaging a league-leading 35.3 points on .478 shooting, 8.9 boards and 8.9 assists over 36.9 minutes a night.
The Lakers (15-5) are coming off of a 129-108 loss to the Phoenix Suns on Monday night.
The Raptors (15-7) ended a two-game losing streak on Tuesday night with a 121-118 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers at Scotiabank Arena.
