Prediction and betting odds for Lakers vs. Raptors

The Los Angeles Lakers visit the Toronto Raptors on Thursday, and if you’re looking to do some last-minute betting research, you’re in luck! We’ll give you the latest point spread, money line odds and over/under number, as well as the information you’ll need to make the smartest bet.
The Lakers will try to get back on track after getting run out of their own gym on Monday in a 125-108 loss to the Phoenix Suns. Luka Doncic will not be available due to a personal matter, so they will have their work cut out for them against a Raptors team that is in second place in the Eastern Conference with a 15-7 record.
Los Angeles, meanwhile, is 15-5 and is clinging to second place in the Western Conference. This will be the start of a three-game road trip for it that includes games against the Boston Celtics on Friday and the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday.

Lakers vs Raptors injury reports

Raptors: RJ Barrett (right knee sprain) and Jakob Poeltl (lower back injury management) are out.
Advice and Prediction:
The Raptors don’t have a superstar, but they’re being led by their dynamic forward duo of Scottie Barnes and former Laker Brandon Ingram, both of whom are averaging over 20 points a game. In addition, starting point guard Immanuel Quickley is putting up 16.3 points and 6.4 assists a game while shooting 38.8% from 3-point range.
They lead the NBA with 20.4 fast-break points per game, and they hold opponents to the third-lowest fast-break points per game average in the league. Toronto is also adept at forcing turnovers, and it is fourth in shooting percentage and assists per game. The Lakers will need to put forth a much better effort than they did on Monday, when they committed 22 turnovers and were outscored 28-2 in fast-break points while giving up 35 assists.
If the Lakers were fully healthy for this contest, they would likely have a great shot at winning. But without Doncic, their best player, they may be up against it a little bit, and thus, we’re picking the Raptors to win this matchup.
Prediction: Raptors 122, Lakers 114
