Netflix star Criscilla Anderson announces her own death at the age of 45 following cancer battle
A Netflix star has posthumously announced her own death online after battling cancer for several years.
Criscilla Anderson, who appeared on the show Country Ever After alongside ex-husband and musician, Coffey Anderson, died following a battle with colon cancer at the age of 45.
A statement was shared from the late star by her friend on Instagram, who confirmed the sad news of her death.

“My sweet community, If you’re reading this, I’ve finally slipped into the arms of Jesus — peacefully and surrounded by love,” the statement read.
“Please don’t stay in the darkness of this moment. I fought hard and I loved deeply. I am not gone… I’m Home.”
She shared a tribute to her kids and wrote in part: “My babies… I am watching over you. When a moment feels warm, familiar, or too beautiful to be coincidence — that’s me. I’m still mothering you. I’m still yours. #everybutterfly.”

She added in part: “Be gentle with each other. Hold my children close. And remember: heaven isn’t as far away as it feels. I love you all. Always.— Criscilla ✨❤️.”
Actress Viola Davis commented underneath, sharing her condelences: “Just devastating. Really. I never stopped praying and will continue to pray for her family, her children and for her name to continue to be spoken. God’s got her❤️.”

Coffey also shared a moving tribute to his late ex-wife on Instagram, calling her a “fighter” to the end.
“Criscilla defined strength and fighter like no other person on the planet. Heaven gained a star today. 💔,” he wrote.

They were reportedly going through divorce proceedings before her death and in her Instagram bio, the dancer wrote she was “divorced”.
She reportedly performed with the likes of Britney Spears and Rihanna before her death.
