Kalamkaval Reviews: Mammootty’s Serial Killer ‘Masterpiece’ Is A ‘Certified Banger’, Say Fans
Malayalam superstar Mammootty ruled the box office in 2023 and 2024 with back-to-back critical and commercial hits like Kannur Squad, Kaathal – The Core, Abraham Ozler, Bramayugam and Turbo.
However, the year 2025 started on a terrible note with two critical and commercial flops in a row — Dominic and the Ladies’ Purse and Bazooka.
However, the Malayalam megastar is ending the year with a bang with his new movie Kalamkaval where he plays a menacing serial killer inspired by Mohan Kumar aka Cyanide Mohan.

Mammootty’s Kalamkaval Gets Rave Reviews From Audience
Directed by Jithin K. Jose, the Mammootty starrer also features Vinayakan in a prominent role and has released in theatres on December 5, 2025.
