How tall is Kevin Hart? The comedian isn’t shy about discussing his height: “Now if I put a boot on…”

Soccer’s biggest names will be out in force when the United States, Canada and Mexico host the 2026 FIFA World Cup next June and July, which will almost certainly be the last time we see Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo playing in the tournament.
A star-studded draw: Trump, Brady, Shaq…
To get fans in the mood for the on-field icons strutting their stuff, Friday’s draw will also be splashed with stardust.
President Donald Trump, helped by FIFA chief Gianni Infantino, will likely try to make it all about him. Musical performances will be provided by Andrea Bocelli, Robbie Williams and Nicole Scherzinger, while a lineup of North American sporting icons will also appear on stage, including seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady, four-time NBA champion Shaquille O’Neal, four-time Stanley Cup winner Wayne Gretzky and seven-time MLB All-Star Aaron Judge.
The draw itself will be conducted by international broadcaster Samantha Johnson and former Manchester United and England defender Rio Ferdinand. The world of entertainment will provide the hosts for the gala, including comedian Kevin Hart, model Heidi Klum and actor Danny Ramirez.
Kevin Hart brings the laughs
Hart has become one of American entertainment’s biggest names in recent years, if not one of its biggest performers in terms of stature.
The 46-year-old, whose very first comedy tour was titled “I’m a Grown Little Man,” often makes humorous references to his height – or lack of it – in his stand-up routines. Fans might want to listen for some such jokes on Friday if they plan to play Kevin Hart World Cup draw bingo.
How tall is Kevin Hart really?
Over the last 25 years, Hart’s height has been listed anywhere from 5 foot 2 to 5 foot 5. He confirmed in a 2024 interview with 60 Minutes that being listed as 5 foot 5 in a GQ profile was accurate. He previously joked that he was 5 foot 2 on his Reality Check tour.
“GQ finally got it right. Five foot 5, like with a shoe on, like a sneaker. Now, if I put a boot on, I can get to 5 [foot] 5 1/2,” Hart quipped.
That makes the Philadelphia native 1 foot 8 inches shorter than NBA legend O’Neal, who stands at 7 foot 1 and who he might share the stage with. The comedy equivalent of an open-goal tap-in in soccer.
