Victoria actor Dominic Fox is bringing holiday cheer to Netflix with his first feature film role!
Netflix’s newest holiday rom-com, My Secret Santa, follows single mom Taylor who needs a job and lands one at a ski resort, where she must pass as Santa to impress the hotel heir who hired her.
The majority of the movie was filmed at Sun Peaks Resort in Kamloops, British Columbia and stars Virgin River actress Alexandra Breckenridge as Taylor, New Amsterdam actor Ryan Eggold as the charming hotel manager Matthew, and Victoria’s very own Dominic Fox as Jimmy.
Born and raised in Langford, Fox started acting in camps at age 11 and still calls the city home.
He continued his passion for acting with multiple roles in BlackWing Theatre Company productions throughout high school.
In 2024, he graduated from the Acting for Film & TV Diploma from the Victoria Academy of the Dramatic Arts—landing his first feature film acting role in My Secret Santa shortly after.
He will also be in three more upcoming films: Life with Dotty, In Alaska, Ghost Island and Phony.
