Kerry County Council warns motorists of risk of surface water flooding roads

Kerry County Council is warning motorists to take extra care as there’s a risk of surface water flooding roads due to heavy rainfall.
The council says persistent rainfall is expected over the next 36-hours.
It says with this rain falling on already saturated ground, there is an increased risk of surface water ponding leading to difficult travelling conditions.
Kerry County Council is urging people to travel with extreme caution throughout today (Friday, Dec 5th) and tomorrow (Saturday, Dec 6th).
