JetBlue announces two new transatlantic destinations from Boston in 2026
The airline, a leading carrier at Logan International Airport, launched daily, year-round service to Daytona Beach from Boston and New York on Thursday.
Daytona Beach offers 23 miles of beaches, shopping, restaurants, outdoor activities, and scenic trails. The Daytona International Speedway, home of the Daytona 500, is billed the world’s most iconic racetrack.
JetBlue is returning to Daytona Beach International Airport after a seven year absence, reported the The Daytona Beach News-Journal. The airline offered daily nonstop flights to John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City for three years before suspending the service in 2019, according to the report, and will now resume that route and add the Boston route.
The daily flight leaves Boston at 10:45 a.m. and arrives in Daytona Beach at 1:55 p.m. The return flight leaves Daytona Beach at 2:50 p.m. and arrives in Boston at 5:48 p.m. Customers fly on JetBlue’s A220 aircraft.
“These flights will enhance greater business, tourism and family connections while strengthening Daytona Beach International Airport’s role as a gateway to the world,” said Cyrus Callum, director of aviation and economic resources for Volusia County Government, in a statement. “The community is thrilled with the return of JetBlue to Daytona Beach, as New York is our #1 market and Boston is our #5 market. Our residents now have the ease of flying from their hometown airport to these major destinations, and now even more visitors can experience the beauty, charm and excitement of the greater Daytona Beach area with easy, nonstop flights.”
With the addition of JetBlue, Daytona Beach International Airport is served by five airlines and offers direct flights to 11 destinations, according to the airport’s website.
In celebration of the routes, JetBlue is offering fares for as low as $59 one-way between Daytona Beach and New York and Boston through Dec. 6.
