Vicky Pattison is thrilled as it was confirmed her Strictly Come Dancing journey is not over just yet. The Geordie Shore star was partnered with Kai Widdrington on the popular BBC contest this year.
However, fans were gutted when their journey was cut short the week before the programme went to Blackpool. But Vicky’s time on the dancefloor is not completely over as she will return for the tour, which comes to Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena on February 5 and 6. Vicky studied at Liverpool John Moore’s University and is looking forward to reprising her partnership with Kai.
She said: “I had an incredible couple of months on Strictly! Now I’m buzzing like an old fridge that I get to continue this amazing experience and put my dancing shoes back on for the Strictly Live tour at arenas all over the country – including my hometown of Newcastle!”
Ellie Goldstein has also been confirmed on the live tour as she will reprise her partnership with Vito Coppola. Ellie is an inclusivity trailblazer who made history as the BBC show’s first ever contestant with Down Syndrome.
After the announcement, Ellie said: “It was a dream come true to be part of this year’s Strictly Come Dancing. And now, I’m over the moon to continue my dancing journey on the Strictly Live arena tour with my ‘Cheeky Team’ partner, Vito!
“I can’t wait to see you all on the dancefloor!”
Drag star, La Voix and Gladiator Harry Aikines-Aryeetey were the first two celebrities to be announced for the 2026 tour. They will be joined by judges Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke and Craig Revel Horwood, as well as Strictly – It Takes Two presenter Janette Manrara, who returns to host.
La Voix, 45, who came second on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK in 2024, will be reunited dance partner Aljaz Skorjanec for the tour.
Speaking of taking part in the show, she said: “I loved being part of Strictly and was devastated when my time on the show was cut short because of injury.
“But now I’m absolutely thrilled to have the chance to get back on an even bigger dancefloor with the sparkling 2026 Strictly live tour. I can’t wait to sashay my way around the country with my wonderful partner Aljaz by my side.”
Former Team GB sprinter Aikines-Aryeetey, 37, who was the sixth contestant to be eliminated from the show, will return with his partner Karen Hauer.
He said: “I’m switching the Gladiators arena for the Strictly live tour arenas and can’t wait to get back on the dance floor.
“It’s amazing to be reunited with Karen again and we can’t wait to show you what’s in store. Expect more fun, more laughs, and even more energy.”
The audience decides who wins the coveted glitterball trophy at each show of the tour, which opens at Birmingham’s Utilita Arena on January 23.
In addition to Liverpool, the show will also stop off at Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester, Sheffield, Glasgow and Nottingham, finishing with five shows at London’s O2 Arena in mid-February.
The show includes a mixture of dance routines and live music and there will be a British Sign Language interpreter at each event.
Tickets for the Strictly live tour are available from strictlycomedancinglive.com. Further casting announcements will be made soon.
