Saddiq Bey extends 20-point streak in loss

With Zion Williamson (adductor) facing a multi-week absence and Herb Jones still sidelined, Saddiq Bey continues to shoulder a heavy scoring load for the Pelicans. He reached the 20-point mark for the fourth consecutive game during Thursday’s loss to the Timberwolves, finishing with 20 points (8-17 FG, 4-4 FT), six rebounds, three steals, and one assist.
Fantasy Impact:
Bey has established himself as a premier fantasy option since late November, trailing only Trey Murphy in value among New Orleans players during that span. He has now eclipsed 20 points in five of his last six appearances. Given the injuries on the roster, Bey projects to remain a focal point of the offense, making him a strong addition for fantasy managers despite a light schedule for Week 8 due to the NBA Cup.
