Inside I’m A Celeb’s Angry Ginge home with mouldy wallpaper and no door handles

I’m A Celebrity’s Angry Ginge, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, has won the hearts of ITV viewers with his sharp wit and charm.
The internet sensation, 24, initially rose to fame through his gaming streams on Twitch and YouTube content targeting Gen-Z viewers. However, his stint on the ITV hit realityshow has broadened his appeal to audiences of all ages.
From the very first episode, Angry Ginge and his close friend Aitch have had fans in hysterics, and it seems they’re here to stay.
Despite his current stardom, Angry Ginge’s humble beginnings are a far cry from his present fame. The star lived in a £350 a month mouldy flat with peeling wallpaper and no shower.
In a recent video, he took fans back to “the room where it all started,” revealing his former living space and leaving viewers speechless at its condition.
As he showed off his old home, Angry Ginge couldn’t help but chuckle at the quirks of his former room, including a door with no handle. “There is no door handle,” he laughed, demonstrating how the door had to be yanked open from the side just to enter or exit the room.
He showed off the peeling, mould-ridden wallpaper lining the ceiling, explaining: “I mean, just f****** look at it”. Ginge then unveiled the “soundproofing” that had been installed to allow him to stream without causing a racket.
However, he declared it did “absolutely f*** all” as it was simply cardboard and foam stuck to the wall. “Here is the window that the neighbour knocked on because I was being too loud at five o’clock,” he narrated, panning towards the upstairs window.
Next, he revealed the “actual room” with a grubby floor that seemed to be covered in blue patterned lino rather than carpet. An irate Ginge also let slip that there used to be a bed in the tiny space, which left viewers gobsmacked given how tight the room was.

The walls were also speckled with numerous stains. “This is a throwback,” he mused, adding the caption: “The memories,” explaining this was where his journey had kicked off.
As expected, the comment section was flooded with reaction from fans as one said: “From there to millions in the bank. Amazing.”
Another commented: “Made the right guy famous.” A third added: “Most honest streamer out there! Deserves all he’s got!”
While a fourth chimed in saying: “Just shows no matter your situation or background, you can better yourself,” as a fifth wrote: “The come up is insane.”
