Samsung working on a faster wireless charger for the Galaxy S26 series – GSMArena.com news

The Samsung Galaxy S26 series, launching next year, is rumored to have faster wireless charging, and to match those speeds, Samsung is said to be working on a new wireless charger.
Samsung’s current Qi2 wireless charger supports 15W wireless charging, but the new wireless charger, having model number EP-P2900, will support 25W wireless charging.

According to retailer data, this charger has a dark gray color and will support Samsung’s Galaxy S and Galaxy Z series smartphones, as well as the Galaxy Buds wireless earphones.
Previous rumors claimed that the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will support 25W wireless charging, while the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ will support 20W wireless charging.
Regarding wired charging, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is rumored to support 60W charging, whereas the S26 and S26+ are said to support 25W and 45W charging, respectively.
