I’m A Celebrity viewers joked they felt like they were watching a different show as they pointed out a detail on the Cyclone challenge. Ant and Dec hosted this year’s penultimate episode of TV’s toughest entertainment challenge on Saturday.
Remaining contestants Aitch, Shona McGarty, Angry Ginge and Tom Read Wilson took on the eagerly anticipated Cyclone challenge on the latest episode. Ahead of the challenge, Ant and Dec explained what the contestants would face in the “world’s most expensive slip and slide”.
Their job was to get all four stars onto the star markers and keep them there until the end of the trial. Starting on the spinning twister, they’d have to make their way out one by one, on the signal of the fireball.
Angry Ginge said it was a dream come true to take part in the challenge. He said: “I’m feeling majestic, feeling quite tight as well in certain areas… I’m absolutely buzzing, I’ve been training for this for multiple years.”
The contestants were thrilled to get four stars on the challenge as Ant said it was his favourite edition of the challenge ever.
The show featured a dramatic soundtrack as Kate Bush’s Running Up That Hill featured during Shona’s edition of the challenge.
Viewers following the show on X were reminded of a scene from Stranger Things as the Netflix show used the Kate Bush classic in a memorable scene in season 3.
