Tim Walz’s daughter Hope goes on foul-mouthed TikTok rant after Trump called her dad ‘retarded

Tim Walz’s daughter unleashed a profanity-laced rant on TikTok following the “s–t storm” her family faced after President Trump called the Democrat governor “retarded” — before she deleted the video.
Hope Walz, 24, launched into the tirade as she claimed critics were targeting her younger brother Gus with the insults in the wake of Trump criticizing Walz for his handling of the Somali food aid fraud scheme.
“I’m talking about this because while my family and I are always gonna be the bigger people, the president calling my dad what he did has unleashed a f–king s–t storm regarding offensive language towards me and my family and specifically my brother,” she said in the now-deleted video on Saturday.

“You can call me whatever you want, you can call my dad, my mom, when it’s Gus, f–k to the no. He dealt with people calling him that last August and now there’s a resurgence? No.”
President Trump ripped the Minnesota governor as “seriously retarded” when he accused him of letting tens of thousands of Somali immigrants take over his “once great state” in a rage-filled Thanksgiving message.
“How is it OK that the President of the United States can call somebody, anybody doesn’t matter who they are, that, and then all of his fricking cult members come and attack those people and that person’s family,” Hope Walz said.
“Say what you want about my dad, he’s an elected official, that’s gonna happen. I think it’s utterly disgraceful that the president would do that but then the attacks that I have seen. I have people DMing me saying absolutely horrendous things.”
Hope Walz claimed a driver drove past the family home and “screamed that we were R-words,” which her father also claimed earlier this week.

“I’m like what world are we f–king living in, and again, I draw a line at Gus because he dealt with that s–t before and not again you people are f–king disgraceful. Shame on you, all of you,” she said.
Gov. Walz revealed last year that his teenage son Gus has a “non verbal learning disorder,” in addition to ADHD and anxiety. Walz called the conditions his son’s “super power.”
Her 61-year-old father said he was left “deeply concerned” when motorists began driving past his house spewing the shameful rhetoric.

The young social worker, who entered the national spotlight when Walz was Kamala Harris’ 2024 running mate, has been vocal in support of her dad since losing the race last November.
In her Saturday night social media post, Hope Walz didn’t mention the massive, $1 billion fraud that has roiled the North Star State and led to Trump’s seething Truth Social message.
Trump had raged that massive fraud is being perpetrated through nonprofits in the North Star State — some of which was carried out by Somalians who funneled taxpayer funding to the terror group al-Shabaab.

Over $1 billion in taxpayers’ money was fleeced by dozens of scammers in Minnesota’s Feeding Our Future fraud scandal, the largest known COVID-19 fraud case in the country.
Trump has since doubled down on his comments, telling reporters, “I think there’s something wrong with him. Absolutely.”
“Anybody that would do what he did, anybody that would allow those people into his state and pay billions of dollars out to Somalia. We give billions of dollars to Somalia. It’s not even a country because it doesn’t function like a country. It’s got a name but it doesn’t function like a country.”
