‘Partly healing’: Jack Osbourne finally shares secret news the family has been sitting on for months
The Osbourne family have been sitting on a secret for months.
Jack Osbourne and his wife, Aree Osbourne, are expecting their second baby together – his fifth – and the couple were able to share the news with his family, including Ozzy, before his death in July.
The 40-year-old revealed it’s been a nice distraction for everyone in the wake of Ozzy’s passing and has brought some healing to the family.

“It’s awesome,” Jack told The Sun on Sunday.
“I think it’s been partly a healthy distraction, partly healing – probably in that kind of ‘full cycle’ category, in a weird way.”
Aree is 28 weeks pregnant, and Jack had shared the news with Ozzy that he was going to be a grandfather again over the UK summer, before his death at 76 in July.
“It’s very much taken energy out of the grieving side of things and parked in a bit more hopefulness. It’s been easy for me – I think it’s been a lot harder for my wife!” he added.

Jack first shared the news that there was another baby on the way after his elimination from the British reality series, I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here.
He spent 20 days in the jungle in Australia, finishing in sixth place overall in the series this year.
“We’re super-excited [for the baby],” he added.
“It was sort of planned, I should say. It was maybe a little earlier than expected. But it’s definitely something that we were wanting to pursue and somehow it happened, miraculously.”
Aree shared the news on social media alongside a snap of herself and Jack, cradling her bump.
“Oops I did it again…” she captioned the joint post.
Friends and followers have flooded the announcement with congratulatory messages for the couple.
Jack’s sister, Kelly Osbourne, also reshared the baby news on her Instagram Stories and added the text: “Not to make this about me, but I’m gonna be an aunt again and keeping the secret for so long was so hard. Congratulations @areeosbourne & @jackosbourne I love you to the moon and back.”

Aree and Jack got engaged in December 2021 and tied the knot in September 2023.
The couple share one daughter together, Maple, who was born in July 2022.
He also has three other daughters, Pearl, 13, Andy, 10 and Minnie, seven, whom he shares with his ex-wife Lisa Stelly.
