One dead after Sunday morning shooting

CHARLESTON, W.Va . (WSAZ) – The Charleston Police Department are investigating a homicide.

Investigators said an adult man was shot at 2 a.m. Sunday morning.

Police say this happened inside of home on the 800 block of Main Street in Charleston.

The investigation showed that the victim and suspect got into an argument inside of the residence.

The Charleston Police Department have now identified Jack Rolfe, 33, of St. Albans as a suspect.

Police say Rolfe then pulled out a gun and shot the victim. Afterwards, the suspect left the scene.

The victim was shot in the abdomen and later died in the hospital from their injuries.

Rolfe has an active warrant for first degree murder.

Charleston Police Department say the suspect is not in custody and they are asking for the public’s help in locating him.
