Amazon Recall Update: Customers Told ‘Immediately Stop’ Using Products

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has ordered multiple recalls of children’s products sold on Amazon, citing risks that range from choking and battery ingestion to deadly tip-over hazards, and urging consumers to “immediately stop” using the affected products. 

What To Know

The recalled products sold on Amazon, announced by the CPSC, are: 

Casaottima 13-Drawer Dressers, which were sold in black, black and vintage, gray, and pink.

  • Reason for recall: According to the CPSC announcement, the “recalled dressers are unstable if they are not anchored to the wall, posing tip-over and entrapment hazard” and violate the STURDY Act standards.
  • Number of units sold: Around 4,120
  • Recall date: December 4, 2025
  • Manufacturer: Ningbo Xinsuda Trading Co., Ltd.
  • Affected product codes: The recalled products are marked with the following codes: B0D62S9H39, B0D62TCKD7, B0D62SQC6Q, or B0D62VBGZG.
  • Next steps: The CPSC has advised customers who own affected dressers to immediately stop using them if they are not anchored to the wall, and to keep them away from children. To get a refund, they should dismantle the product and send a photo to Casaottima at support@casaottima.store.

No incidents have been reported at the time of reporting. 

HydroJug 14-ounce Children’s Sport Tumblers, which feature Cowgirl, Sports, Daisy Checkers, Dinosaur, and Bows patterns

  • Reason for recall: The handle on the tumbler has the potential to detach, which could cause a choking hazard for children.
  • Number of units sold: Around 17,000
  • Recall date: December 4, 2025
  • Manufacturer: HydroJug, Inc.
  • Affected product numbers: Serial number 235010 (which can be found on the bottom of the tumbler under the rubber boot). Some products may not have serial numbers. 
  • Next steps: Consumers have been told to stop using the product immediately, and email HydroJug at service@thehydrojug.com for a full refund, providing order details, the shipping address, and photos of the serial number (or photos showing there is no serial number).

Although no injuries have been reported at the time of publishing, HydroJug has received 656 reports of the rivets on the handle coming loose, which could cause a choking hazard.

CreateOn Crayola-branded pip-Cubes, sold in Bold Colors and Glitter in sets of 24 or 27 cubes

  • Reason for recall: According to the CPSC, the “building cubes contain magnets that can become loose if the seams separate, posing an ingestion hazard to children.”
  • Number of units sold: About 9,400
  • Recall date: December 4, 2025
  • Importer: CreateOn

  • Next steps: Consumers should stop using the affected products immediately and contact CreateOn to receive a replacement.

KTEBO Writing Tablet Toy, sold in sets of two and in four color variations: pink/blue, green/yellow, orange/blue, and purple/red, and in two sizes: 8.5 inches and 10 inches

  • Reason for recall: The CPSC has said that the toys violate mandatory standards because the battery is not secure and could be swallowed, which can cause chemical burns or death
  • Number of units sold: About 10,380
  • Recall date: December 4, 2025
  • Retailer: Banghe Guangzhou International Trade Co., Ltd
  • Recall number: 26-131 
  • Next steps: Consumers should immediately stop using the tablet toy and send a photo of it—marked RECALLED—to writing-tablet-recall@ktebo.com  with “Recall Proof” and their name in the subject line, to get a free refund.

Regarding the KTEBO Writing Tablet recall, the CPSC stated: “When button cell or coin batteries are swallowed, the ingested batteries can cause serious injuries, internal chemical burns, and death.” 

In the Casaottima Dresser recall notice, the CPSC said: “The recalled dressers are unstable if they are not anchored to the wall, posing tip-over and entrapment hazards that can result in a risk of serious injuries or death to children.”
