A Sunday Brunch guest departed the studio immediately following their chat with Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer this week (Sunday, 7th December).
This week’s programme featured celebrity guests Chris McCausland, Ben Miller, Chris and Rosie Ramsey, Nigel Havers and Jack Savoretti.
Regrettably, Tim informed viewers at the programme’s opening that actor Havers would need to depart early owing to professional obligations.
During the show, the hosts discussed the actor’s upcoming live performance, Talking B****cks, which hits theatres next year.
Nevertheless, Havers is currently treading the boards for different reasons as he’s appearing in the London Palladium’s pantomime for his tenth consecutive year, reports the Express.

The actor plays The Keeper of the Privy in the renowned theatre’s staging of Sleeping Beauty, which also features Catherine Tate, Julian Clary, Paul Zerdin and Rob Madge.
When questioned about his decision to join the panto, Havers playfully confessed: “I don’t know. For the money, really.
“I’ve done it every year since we’ve started with my friend Julian Clary and Paul Zerdin, the ventriloquist,” he elaborated. “And it’s fantastic. I suppose it’s an amazing experience.”
Havers recounted how he proposed a new pantomime at the Palladium to the venue’s proprietor, Andrew Lloyd Webber, disclosing “it’s been there ever since. It’s stuck.”
Jokingly claiming that Julian “abuses” him on stage, he cheekily confessed they both blanked on the words to their song during the grand finale of their opening night. He also disclosed that the duo enjoy “the best martini in the world” following each evening’s performance.
“It’s the most expensive panto ever made,” he reflected. “Catherine Tate this year is just quite extraordinary. The whole place goes wild.”

Viewers tuning into the Channel 4 programme from home were completely charmed by Havers’ guest spot, even though he had to dash off early to make Sunday’s matinee show.
One X user commented: “Nigel Havers is stealing the show. He’s a great raconteur.”
“I’ve never taken Nigel Havers very seriously, wasn’t someone I was remotely interested in BUT the guy sounds a scream!” another viewer remarked.
Meanwhile, another confessed: “Couldn’t help it. Had to watch Nigel Havers on Sunday Brunch. Have always liked him.”
Sunday Brunch airs from 10am on Channel 4.
