Ghetts is set to appear in court today [Monday, December 8] accused of causing death by dangerous driving
- The rapper, real name Justin Clarke-Samuel, was remanded in custody by Judge Nigel Lickley KC in November and his plea hearing was set for 8 December.
- Ghetts allegedly failed to stop after his BMW hit 20-year-old Yubin Tamang in Ilford on 18 October 2025.
- Clarke-Samuel was initially charged with a single count of causing the fatal incident by dangerous driving, and he now faces two further charges of dangerous driving before and after the crash.
- It has been alleged that Ghetts was driving dangerously in Tavistock Place and other roads in Camden, London, and that he continued to drive dangerously in Redbridge while travelling back to his house in Woodford.
- The rapper’s black BMW, which was allegedly registered and insured in his name, was reportedly significantly damaged.
