Emergency services were called to Chute Street in Diamond Creek at about 10pm.
They found an e-bike and a four-wheel-drive had crashed.
The bike rider, believed to be a teenage boy, was treated at the scene but could not be revived and was declared dead.
The driver of the 4WD is currently assisting police.
The investigation into the collision is ongoing.
