Some Cellcom customers in Northeast Wisconsin are experiencing another outage

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WLUK) – Some Cellcom customers in Northeast Wisconsin are reporting an outage early Tuesday morning with their wireless service.
The company has not posted any information about an outage on its website or social media, but the website DownDetector.com shows several customers reported outages after midnight Tuesday. FOX 11 has asked Cellcom what’s causing the issue, why it’s only impacting some customers and how long issues may continue.
While some customers are not having issues while others notice their phones are in “SOS mode” which means they can’t use data, send text messages or make calls.
The issue continues even after restarting a phone. Connecting to a WiFi network enables services like iMessage, WhatsApp and FaceTime.
The Northeast Wisconsin wireless provider had a widespread service interruption in May because of a cyber incident. That lasted about two weeks.
