All The Leaks About Marvel Rivals’ Rogue Ahead Of Her Release

Rogue in Marvel Rivals

NetEase

This doesn’t always happen in Marvel Rivals, but in season 5 here (man, these are going fast), NetEase is releasing a matched pair of heroes, Gambit and Rogue. Gambit, a duelist, has already come out, but Rogue and her kit remain mostly a mystery ahead of her release on December 12. She will be the game’s 45th(!) hero. But we do have a number of leaks about what’s coming with Rogue, from stats to abilities to even cosmetics:

  • Rogue, despite her stature, will be a Vanguard
  • Rogue will have 675 health and 600 movespeed
  • Rogue’s ultimate will allow her to drain the ult charge of her enemies, plus more effects
  • Rogue will have a trio team-up with Gambit and Magneto
  • Rogue may have the ability to use other heroes’ powers, similar to Loki
  • Rogue will launch with her famous Savage Land skin, which is in keeping with…let’s say the type of skins that are best-sellers in Marvel Rivals

This is what I can dig up so far based on the leaks we’ve seen, though I’m sure I will publish it, and then NetEase will release five official videos detailing her entire kit and gameplay. Such is how these things go, I suppose. Rogue will join Marvel Rivals’ growing list of X-Men, some that launched with the game, others that have been added:

  • Emma Frost
  • Magneto
  • Gambit
  • Wolverine
  • Psylocke
  • Storm
  • Magik
  • Jean Grey
  • Namor (technically)

There are a number of rumored X-Men that have been named in leaks, but these are long, long lists of leaks, so whether they make it to release, and when, is often unknown. But Gambit, Rogue and Emma Frost were in these lists before. Other potential X-Men include Nightcrawler, Beast, Jubilee, Professor X, Colossus and Cyclops.

I would expect more X-Men than less in the future, as Marvel has mostly filled out at least the main roster of The Avengers, though obviously with a few exceptions, given how many characters flit in and out of that group. But the crew from the MCU? Yeah, almost all of them are in there. We’re missing a few like Ant-Man, Captain Marvel and Vision, but not too many.

So, stay tuned for more Rogue news, and I will be prepared to post whatever official thing is released by NetEase in the next day or two, given her imminent launch, where players are going to want to know what to expect heading into her release. As ever, Rogue will be a free release, though will technically cost money because everyone will agree that her Savage Land skin will be a mandatory purchase.
