Sheffield Wednesday predicted team vs Watford as Henrik Pedersen makes Max Lowe call

Sheffield Wednesday return to Championship action tomorrow night when they travel to Watford.

The Owls were left frustrated on Saturday as their game against Blackburn Rovers was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch, with Henrik Pedersen’s team trailing 1-0.

Wednesday haven’t won a game since September, and with relegation to League One pretty much a formality, it’s all about playing for pride at the moment.

Pedersen will be keen to ensure his team keep going about their business professionally and once again, another competitive team will be picked for the trip to Watford.

The Wednesday rearguard

Pierce Charles returned between the posts at the weekend and he should start again at Watford after recovering from his shoulder injury.

In front of him, it could be an experienced trio of Liam Cooper, Max Lowe and Liam Palmer who start the game and attempt to keep the Hornets at bay.

The Wednesday engine room

Harry Amass will begin the game as the left-sided wing-back, with young academy starlet Sean Fusire likely operating as a right wing-back.

In centre midfield, Barry Bannan will likely lead the team wearing the captain’s armband and his partner in midfield will probably be Svante Ingelsson.

Leading the Wednesday line

Bailey Cadamarteri will spearhead the attack against Watford, with the striker desperately trying to score a few more goals this season.

Charlie McNeill was praised by Pedersen after a recent 3-2 defeat to Preston North End and he should start just behind the man striker in tandem with Jamal Lowe.
