‘Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced’ Gets PEGI Rating Ahead Of The Game Awards 2025

There’s been a lot of talk about an Assassin’s Creed Black Flag remake (or remaster) over the past few years, and now it looks like it’s about to show up very soon as it’s just appeared on the PEGI website with an “18” rating.

No specific platforms are mentioned in the process, but it’s said the game will feature “violence”, “bad language” and “in-game purchases”. It’s also got the official title of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced.

Here’s a closer look:

It might just be a coincidence, but Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is showing up just two days before The Game Awards 2025, so it seems likely it’ll show up at this week’s event (we’ll obviously let you know if it does!).

In terms of a release date, there have been rumours that it’ll come out at some point before the end of March 2026, so perhaps it won’t be far off at all. In any case, it shouldn’t be long until we get some official details on this one.
