Winter weather triggers closures and delays across ENC

Eastern North Carolina is preparing for wintry conditions Monday night into Tuesday, prompting dozens of schools, government offices, child care centers, and community services to adjust schedules. The National Weather Service in Morehead City has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for several northeastern counties beginning Monday, December 8.
Officials urge residents to use caution as temperatures fall and roads become hazardous.
