Ripple, the latest drama to hit Netflix, has taken viewers on an emotional journey with its eight gripping episodes.
The series, which stands out among other popular Netflix dramas, tells the story of four New Yorkers whose lives become unexpectedly intertwined as they face some heart-wrenching challenges.
Fans are already speculating about a potential second season, praising the series as “perfect” and admitting to binge-watching it in a single day.
The official synopsis states: “The series follows four strangers -Walter, Kris, Nate, and Aria- who have unknowingly crossed paths many times but never met.
“As they each face life’s challenges, their actions create a ripple effect that ultimately connects them. Ripple delivers a powerful message of hope: the best things often come after the storm, and no one is truly alone.”

Walter – Frankie Faison
Frankie Faison, a 76 year old American actor, is best known for his role as Commissioner Ervin Burrell in the HBO series The Wire.
Audiences may also recognise him from his roles as Barney Matthews in the Hannibal Lecter franchise, or as Sugar Bates in the Cinemax series Banshee.
He is married to Samantha Jupiter Faison and has three children.
Kris – Julia Chan
Julia Chan, a 42 year old English actress and presenter, is best known for her role as Dr Maggie Lin in Saving Hope.
She also portrayed Pepper Smith in The CW series Katy Keene, and hosted the first two seasons of The Great Canadian Baking Show.
The star was previously married to Erik Ratensperger from 2011 to 2019.

Nate – Ian Harding
Ian Harding, a 39 year old American actor, is best known for his role as Ezra Fitz in Pretty Little Liars, which he played from 2010 to 2017.
His other television roles include appearances in Chicago Med, Long Slow Exhale and The Magic of Lemon Drops.
In 2019, he tied the knot with Sophie Hart and they welcomed a son in 2022.
Aria – Sydney Agudong
Sydney Agudong, a 25 year old American actress and singer, gained fame for her portrayal of Nani Pelekai in Lilo & Stitch.
Hailing from Hawaii, her younger sister Siena Agudong is also an actress, and the pair started travelling to LA for acting auditions when they were children.
Sydney has also featured in episodes of On My Block, NCIS and Find Millie Martin.

Tara Martin – Marci T House
Marci T House, a 53 year old American-Canadian actress and executive producer, has experience across film, TV and theatre.
Audiences may recognise her as Dr Angela Clyburn from the series Murder in a Small Town, or as Joyce in Happy Face.
Ellis – Sarah Swire
Sarah Swire, a stage, screen and TV actress and singer-songwriter who performs under the name Sister Swire, is well-known for her role as Jenna Briggs in The Last Frontier. She’s also had various roles in Murdoch Mysteries.
She portrayed a young Mallory in an episode of The Boys back in 2022.

Claire – Vanessa Smythe
Vanessa Smythe is most recognised for her role as Michio in the series The Expanse, and she’s also appeared in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.
She took to Instagram to discuss her latest role, for which she had to learn American Sign Language.
She revealed: “I play Claire who loves Nate and Anna. The rest you’ll have to just (possibly) see. Beyond this being one of those lifetime/all time impeccable assemblies of people – from the cast to the crew to the legs on the ground – something that made this extra special for me was getting to learn some ASL with the help of ice fisher extraordinaire @amandaricher , @cdesloges , @tslisto @jenrl_xoxo , and multiple other interpreters who joined us on set.
“I have much more to learn but I was honoured to get to engage with members of the deaf community, most of all my TV daughter Hazel whose eyes and heart pierce my soul, and who even granted me my own sign name on our very last block.”
John – Robert Bazzochi
Robert Bazzochi is an Italian-Canadian performer who launched his artistic journey as a dancer, undertaking competitive training for a decade.
During his university years, he pursued Robotics Engineering before transitioning to acting following graduation. His portfolio features Gen V, Ruby and the Well, Macy Murdoch and Reacher.
