Assistance requested for missing/runaway juvenile

EAU CLAIRE COUNTY, Wis. (WEAU) – The Eau Claire County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating 17-year-old Evelyne Conners who left her Eau Claire County residence on her own accord, on or about November 24 at approximately 11:30 p.m.

According to their Facebook post, Evelyne is described as a white female, approximately 5’6” tall, 130 pounds, with blue eyes and black hair. When she left her residence, she brought some of her personal belongings with her. It is likely that she was picked up by someone when she left her residence, but now may be traveling on foot or with the assistance of friends/associates.

At this time, based solely on the known facts of this particular case, there is no indication that Evelyne is in immediate danger. However, efforts to locate her have been hindered because her social media accounts and other digital communication platforms appear to have been deactivated, used discreetly or unused, limiting our ability to track her whereabouts.

Evelyne has previously traveled to or has spent time in the areas of Neillsville, Eleva-Strum and Williston, North Dakota. We are asking the public and especially any friends who may be hesitant to come forward to help us identify where she may have gone.

If you have any information regarding Evelyne’s location or have had recent contact with her, please contact:

  • Eau Claire County Emergency Dispatch: 715-839-4972
  • Detective Kory Brock: 715-271-7211
