How To Start The Mega Dimension DLC
To access the Mega Dimension DLC in Pokemon Legends: Z-A, you must first complete the base game. Once you’ve finished, you’ll receive a call on your in-game phone directing you to head to Hotel Z.
This call officially unlocks the DLC content, setting you on the path for the Donuts Of Unworldly Deliciousness side mission.

How To Complete The Donuts Of Unworldly Deliciousness Side Mission
After a call from your phone, head to the roof of Hotel Z. Here, you’ll find the first objective: fetch some Butter from the Baker’s Stall. To do this, make your way through the green Tunnel Archway located on the east side of Magenta Sector 6. This leads you directly to the stall. Talk to the NPC here, and then you’ll face your first combat challenge.
Prepare for a 2-on-2 battle against Terragon and Grisham. This fight is relatively straightforward; you’ll need to defeat both their Mega Exadrill and Mega Charizard.
Mega Exadrill is a Steel/Ground type, which makes it vulnerable to Fire, Water, and Fighting moves, while Mega Charizard is Fire/Flying, so Rock, Water, and Electric moves are especially effective.
Once you defeat the pair, you’ll be rewarded with the Lumiosiane Butter, which you should collect from Taunie. The next step is to return this butter to Ansha, who can now be found in the lobby of Hotel Z.
At this point, you’ll get to choose a donut based on any three berries you have. For reference, a combination of Kasib, Haban, and Chilan berries produces the Chilann Meringue Donut, though at this point in the DLC, the donut doesn’t really matter much. Feel free to use the berries given to you.
Later on in the DLC, the type of donut you make will matter.
Afterward, meet Ansha by the Saison Canal by traveling to the nearby Justice Dojo. You’ll then need to pass through a distortion to find her. Once inside the distorted area, Ansha can be tricky to locate. Walk around the scaffolds and peek between the in-between buildings to track her down. There is no reliable map within the distortion.
Along the way, you’ll encounter Wild Mankees at level 110, which are unusually strong for this part of the game. To handle them, use Pokemon with Flying, Psychic, or Fairy-type moves, as these are super effective against Fighting-types. We recommend choices like Gardevoir or Dragonite. Ansha will eventually run off during this encounter, so keep following her to progress the mission.
Once you catch up to her, a cutscene will play, wrapping up the mission and opening the path to the rest of the DLC.
