Tyler Perry’s ‘Beauty in Black’ Renewed for Third and Final Season at Netflix

Tyler Perry‘s “Beauty in Black” has been renewed for a third and final season at Netflix, ahead of the March 19 debut of Season 2, Part 2.
The final batches of episodes promise to bring “Kimmie’s journey with the Bellarie family to an epic conclusion,” per Netflix.
“Beauty in Black” follows Kimmie (Taylor Polidore Williams), the once-unassuming sex worker under the employ of a ruthless family that runs an underground sex trafficking ring underneath their beauty brand. According to the logline, Kimmie “becomes an unstoppable force and is now the one calling the shots after inheriting sole ownership of the family business.”
Crystle Stewart, Amber Reign Smith, Xavier Smalls, Ricco Ross, Julian Horton, Steven G. Norfleet, Richard Lawson, Terrell Carter, Bryan Tanaka, Charles Malik Whitfield and Debbi Morgan star in “Beauty in Black” alongside Williams. Guest stars include Bailey Tippen, Randall J. Bacon, Greg Clarkson, Ace Small, George Middlebrook, Kajanee Smith, Philemon Chambers, Aria Celeste Castillo, Rodrigo Aburto, Jasmine Burke and Phylicía Lloyd.
The series debuted in October 2024. The first part of Season 2 debuted on Netflix in September, with the final eight episodes of the season coming in March.
Tyler Perry created “Beauty in Black” and serves as executive producer, writer and director. Angi Bones and Tony Strickland produce for Tyler Perry Studios. The music from the series comes from Wow Jones & Jimijame$.
Perry is under a multiyear first-look deal with Netflix. His other recent projects for the streamer include the political sitcom “Miss Governor” and the faith-based romance film “Ruth & Boaz.”
