Oasis REJECT big money offer to play at iconic venue after sell out reunion tour

NOEL and Liam Gallagher are currently wading through offers for performances across the world.

But I’m told there is one place Oasis won’t be popping up in the future – and that’s The Sphere in Las Vegas.

I’m told the brothers have been put off the venue by their pal Bono, who had a residency there from September 2023 to March last year.

I was lucky enough to be flown to Vegas to watch the show and it was absolutely incredible – apart from getting motion sickness from the psychedelic visuals.

But according to one of my band moles, Bono warned Noel and Liam about the eye-watering costs of the concerts.

They explained: “Noel has always worshipped U2’s ability to put on amazing shows, from Zooropa to PopMart and the Achtung Baby revival at The Sphere.

“Oasis have the power and money now after their Live ‘25 run to mount a residency at The Sphere.

“Their graphics team is excellent and they have the skills to design an immersive experience for fans at The Sphere, which would feature graphics of the band back in their Manchester days to the present day.

“But when the prospect of appearing at The Sphere was raised Noel said he wasn’t keen.

“He remembered Bono moaning about the massive cost of mounting a show there.

“He’s always had an eye on the bottom line for him and the band from the cost of their shows.

“But he’s not going to waste money on a spectacle that will lose him and everyone else cash.”
