Raptors 905 set G League record with 11-0 start

The Raptors 905 have made G League history.
The Toronto Raptors’ affiliate club won their 11th straight game to start the season on Wednesday, the most consecutive wins by a franchise in the history of the G League’s tip-off tournament or showcase cup schedule format.
The 905 bested the Delaware Bluecoats 115-108 to secure the record.
Jonathan Mogbo, playing while on assignment from the Raptors, led the way with 20 points, adding five rebounds, three blocks and two steals. Two-way guard Chucky Hepburn had 17 points, 15 assists and three steals and Canadian wings A.J. Lawson and Quincy Guerrier also chipped in 17 points apiece.
Mogbo has excelled during his recent run with the Mississauga, Ont. based squad, averaging 18.3 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.5 steals over his last four games.
The 905 lead the G League in field goal percentage (50.7 per cent), defensive rating (99.8) and net rating (18.2).
They will have a chance to extend their record unbeaten streak to 12 on Thursday when the 905 take on the Bluecoats again on the second night of a back-to-back.
