Canucks’ Brock Boeser a game-time decision vs. Sabres

The winger had been listed as a game-time decision ahead of Thursday’s game against the Sabres after waking up with discomfort, head coach Adam Foote told reporters (Sportsnet Pacific, 7 p.m. PT / 10 p.m. ET).
According to Foote, Boeser was getting checked for appendicitis.
Boeser, along with the rest of the Canucks, has had a quiet year on the scoresheet. The 28-year-old has nine goals and seven assists in 28 games while averaging 19:02 of ice time a night.
The Burnsville, Minn., native led the team with 40 goals in the 2023-24 season, but took a step back last year with only 25.
The Canucks have had a tough go at things this season and sit last in the NHL with an 11-16-3 record.
