Liam Neeson Attempts to Distance Himself from Controversial Anti-Vaxx, Robert Kennedy-Supporting Documentary
Liam Neeson has shocked many of his long-term fans after narrating a new anti-vaxx documentary, which also appears to glorify Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. While Neeson has become a much-loved icon over the last two decades as an action hero willing to put his life on the line to do what is right and take down all manner of bad guys, his latest project has put him on the wrong side of the fence for many of his fans.
At a time when many actors are discovering their voices being replicated by AI technology, when it was revealed that the documentary, entitled Plague of Corruption: 80 Years of Pharmaceutical Corruption Exposed, which features many already debunked theories and discredited claims about how vaccines can be a cause of autism among other things, many declared it to be an AI fraud. However, this is not the case, and Neeson’s representatives have confirmed that he did the narration, but he does not agree with the content. The statement, as per AV Club, reads:
“We all recognize that corruption can exist within the pharmaceutical industry, but that should never be conflated with opposition to vaccines. Liam never has been, and is not, anti-vaccination. His extensive work with UNICEF underscores his long-held support for global immunization and public-health initiatives. He did not shape the film’s editorial content, and any questions about its claims or messaging should be directed to the producers.”
Ironically, at the same time as the documentary was coming to the attention of many online, Neeson was simultaneously seen in his latest video for UNICEF, which was shared online earlier today.
What Is ‘Plague of Corruption,’ the Anti-Vaxx Documentary Narrated by Liam Neeson?
Plague of Corruption: 80 Years of Pharmaceutical Corruption Exposed is based on a book that was written by Dr. Judy Mikovits and lawyer Kent Heckenlively, which was published by the Kennedy-founded anti-vaxx group, Children’s Health Defense. Mikovitis was previously involved in the Plandemic series, and is widely regarded as having no grounding for any claims that she has previously made in her research, while Heckenlively publicly claimed the Sandy Hook school shooting was a hoax.
Kennedy’s government department has been systematically taking apart the country’s public health infrastructure, which has included dismantling the childhood immunization schedule. While Neeson has been a vocal supporter of UNICEF’s global vaccine efforts, and has been a Goodwill Ambassador for almost 15 years, his involvement in the “dangerous” documentary has undermined much of his previous work, including messages of thanks posted on UNICEF’s social media pages, and Neeson’s own comments that vaccines have been “a remarkable human success story.”
Neeson, who in the documentary is heard saying that mRNA COVID vaccines are “dangerous experiments” and that the scientists behind them are “fanatics” who “demand unconditional submission,” has been slammed by vaccine law expert Dorit Reiss, who said, “Liam Neeson should not lend his name to promoting an anti-science, anti-public health documentary.”
Alongside the many claims made in relation to vaccines, the documentary also portrays Kennedy as a “truth-teller,” who “cannot change the past, but can demand transparency and accountability for the future. The film ends with Kennedy pictured sitting for his confirmations, while Neeson is heard saying, “This is not the end of our story. This is the beginning of a new chapter.”
That new chapter has so far seen an increase in some once almost non-existent childhood diseases, which many have attributed to Kennedy’s health cuts and pullback on vaccines. CBS News reported today that 1,900 cases of measles have been reported in the U.S., the worst outbreak in more than 30 years and growing.
