UK operating on 2-hour delay Friday, Dec. 12

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Dec. 12, 2025) — In the interest of safety and well-being of our campus, the University of Kentucky is operating on a two-hour delay on Friday, Dec. 12, due to inclement weather. UK HealthCare facilities remain open and are operating on regular schedule.
In-person activities for students before 10 a.m. are canceled.
Plan B (designated) employees should report to work on regular schedule. All other university employees (excluding UK HealthCare) are to report to work at 10 a.m.
Designated employees via remote access should work remotely during Plan B operations. If employees have questions about procedures for their work, they should contact their manager.
Facilities crews are working hard to clear roads, parking lots and sidewalks.
