Timothée Chalamet is securing some Marty Supreme gear for his mom!
The actor, 29, shared a post on Instagram on Tuesday, Dec. 2, expressing his excitement for his upcoming film Marty Supreme‘s Christmas Day debut. In a number of snapshots, Chalamet shared glimpses of friends and family getting excited for the movie’s release — particularly his mother, Nicole Flender.
Chalamet shared a screenshot of a recent conversation with his mother, in which she requested some special Marty Supreme merch.
“Can you please send me a Marty Supreme jacket?” she asked, to which Chalamet responded, “Of course I will!”
Flender then requested her son send over the jacket as soon as possible “so it’s timely” and could arrive before the film’s premiere.
Throughout his post, Chalamet also shared a snap of a sidewalk-chalk design featuring the Marty Supreme title, plus a friend wearing one of the aforementioned Marty Supreme jackets in a black-and-white design.
In an earlier joint post on Nov. 19, between Marty Supreme, Tom Brady, Chalamet and the clothing brand Nahmias, the former NFL star posed while wearing a black and blue Marty Supreme zip-up hoodie, featuring three orange stars across the center. The jacket appeared to be different from the one Chalamet recently posted on Dec. 2.
Earlier this year, Chalamet’s girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, was seen wearing a Marty Supreme jacket — the same design as the one Brady wore — while the couple spent a date night at a Yankees game on Oct. 8.
Marty Supreme is a fictionalized tale inspired by professional ping-pong player Marty Reisman. “Marty Mauser, a young man with a dream no one respects, goes to hell and back in pursuit of greatness,” per A24’s synopsis of the film, directed by Josh Safdie,
