NOTES
- With one week remaining before Blank Gameweek 16, it’s the ideal moment to look ahead and plan around the fixture swing.
- AC Milan stand out with a favourable run against Sassuolo and Verona, making a triple-up highly appealing. Bringing in either Luka Modrić or Alexis Saelemaekers looks like the strongest move, most likely replacing Kenan Yıldız or Riccardo Orsolini.
- At the moment, I’m leaning toward keeping Orsolini. Bologna also face Sassuolo and Verona immediately after the blank, so holding him preserves flexibility while still taking advantage of Milan’s outlook.

NOTES
- I should finally be in a position to make a proactive transfer this week, provided no new issues arise. I’m planning to use the Quick Fix chip to navigate the blank in Gameweek 16 and the Rebuild Squad chip to attack Double Gameweek 21, so any moves in Gameweek 15 will focus solely on optimising my squad for the fixtures in between.
- Albert Guðmundsson has needed to go for several weeks and will now depart ahead of Round 15. The forward pool remains thin outside of premium options like Lautaro Martínez, who, at €11.3m, doesn’t offer the value I’m looking for. Dropping to a cheaper forward, such as Giovane or Sebastiano Esposito, looks the most sensible approach.
- David Neres is another possibility in the same price bracket as Guðmundsson, but bringing him in feels like chasing points. His recent returns are well ahead of his underlying metrics, so I’m wary of buying at the top of a hot streak.

NOTES
- Last gameweek went very well for me. My differentials Filippo Terracciano and Giovanne delivered nine and 12 points respectively, and Giovanne securing the captaincy late on gave me a strong green arrow. The squad looks solid again this week, with one exception.
- Mario Gila is flagged after receiving a red card at the weekend and will serve a suspension. I wasn’t planning to sell him – Lazio have been excellent defensively – but given my current chip strategy, Gila doesn’t feature in the double for Gameweek 21. That makes moving him on the logical play.
- I’m eyeing a replacement who does double in Gameweek 21. Amir Rrahmani or Giovanni Di Lorenzo from Napoli stand out, while Victor Nelsson from Verona offers a solid budget alternative.
- Christian Pulisic also caught the eye on Monday night, coming off the bench against Torino and scoring twice. He’s firmly on my watchlist, but upgrading Gila takes priority this week.

NOTES
- I’ll be using the Quick Fix (Free Hit) chip to navigate the Blank Gameweek 16. With that in mind, and taking into account I’ll be using the Rebuild Squad chip (Wildcard) ahead of the doubles in Gameweek 21, my transfers will be focused on the weeks in between.
- Milan and Torino are two who have a good fixture this week, and good fixtures after the blank next week, so I could focus my transfer there. However, I also want to get rid of Francisco Camarda.
- I have €7m in the bank, so I could take a punt. That could be Fiorentina’s Moise Kean, who plays Verona, Parma and Cremonese in the next three (excluding the blank). If I knew Torino’s Giovanni Simeone was going to start, I’d be more inclined to go for him as he is considerably cheaper.
- I could leave Camarda in, but I’m limiting myself to just 14 players at this point, so he needs to go.
- Good luck!
