Heisman voting results, Fernando Mendoza, Diego Pavia vote share

Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza won the 2025 Heisman Trophy, the Heisman Trust announced on Dec. 13 in New York City.
Vanderbilt football QB Diego Pavia was a finalist for the award, along with Mendoza, Ohio State QB Julian Sayin and Notre Dame RB Jeremiyah Love.
Pavia finished second in Heisman voting, with 189 first-place votes. Mendoza, the first Heisman winner in the Hoosiers’ program history, had 643 first-place votes.
Pavia finished in second in every region, behind Mendoza in each.
Pavia is Vanderbilt football’s first Heisman finalist and the program’s highest finisher in Heisman voting.
