Despite his two-fight losing streak, Brito is still the betting favorite heading into the match with -300 UFC odds. Baghdasaryan, who’s also coming off a loss in his previous bout, will be the +240 betting underdog.

UFC Vegas 112: Joanderson Brito vs. Melsik Baghdasaryan: Prediction
My prediction is a TKO/KO victory for Brito against Baghdasaryan since his strikes pack more power. Add the fact that he’s the more active athlete among the two despite losing his last two fights.
Brito also has the option to take the fight down the mat since he has a decent grappling game that can submit other contenders like Baghdasaryan. Furthermore, his back-to-back losses were very close and competitive matches.
On the other hand, Baghdasaryan is fresh off a devastating TKO loss to Jean Silva. I don’t know the extent of the damage he sustained from that defeat, but I think that coming back less than a year after isn’t a good decision.
Joanderson Brito’s Recent Fight Results
Brito was a former Fusion Fighting Championship titleholder before he joined Dana White’s Contender Series in 2021. Since competing inside the octagon, he has recorded five wins and three losses. He’s currently on a two-fight skid.
Melsik Baghdasaryan’s Recent Fight Results
Baghdasaryan was also a product of Dana White’s Contender Series in 2021, when he defeated Dennis Buzukja by unanimous decision. In his five UFC bouts, he scored wins over Collin Anglin, Bruno Souza, and Tucker Lutz. His losses, meanwhile, were from Josh Culibao and Silva.
