Eagles, Stevie Nicks, and more to headline 2026 Jazz Fest

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – Organizers of the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival announced the event’s 2026 lineup on Thursday (Dec. 11).

Jazz Fest’s 2026 headliners will feature a mix of classic rock, modern country, and soul, along with local flavor.

Rock Hall members Eagles, Stevie Nicks, and Rod Stewart are the Fest’s top headliners.

The Eagles have continued to perform live since announcing their farewell tour in 2023, following the death of founding bassist Randy Meisner. Last year, the band began a concert residency at Sphere in Las Vegas.

Nicks’ current winter tour wrapped up this week. Stewart is currently on tour through next summer.

Representing the world of country music, mega star and Louisiana native Lainey Wilson has been tapped as a headliner. The Grammy winner was named as CMA Entertainer of the Year for a second time this year and is set to star in her first feature-length film as an actress next year.

Also in country, Tyler Childers and Jason Isbell & the 400 Unit have been named headliners. Childers is nominated for a Grammy for the Best Contemporary Country Album this year for the Rick Rubin-produced “Snipe Hunter”. Like Childers, Isbell and his band are in great demand among today’s live acts. Isbell’s solo album “Foxes in the Snow” is nominated in the Grammy category “Best Folk Album”.

Rock and soul acts The Black Keys, Alabama Shakes, Kings of Leon, and Tedeschi Trucks Band all made top billing, while Jon Batiste, Trombone Shorty, and Irma Thomas are some of the names on the headlining list.

The annual two-weekend event is scheduled to take place at the Fair Grounds Race Course from April 23 to May 3.
