The “Saturday Night Live” and Cincinnati connections continue! It’s been over a month since comedian and Cincinnati native Nikki Glaser made her late-night comedy sketch show debut, and this weekend, another star familiar to the Queen City is set to make his hosting debut.
Actor Josh O’Connor, who starred in “The Mastermind,” a star-studded crime drama filmed entirely in Cincinnati, will host “Saturday Night Live” on Dec. 13. It will be the British actor’s first time hosting the show.

Who’s hosting ‘Saturday Night Live’ on Dec. 13?
Actor Josh O’Connor will make his “SNL” debut on Dec. 13. The Emmy winner’s appearance coincides with the release of his latest film, “Wake Up Dead Man,” the third movie in the “Knives Out” series, which hits Netflix on Dec. 12.
O’Connor, who famously starred in the hit movie “Challengers” alongside Zendaya and Mike Faist, also starred in “The Mastermind,” which was filmed in Cincinnati.
The crime drama was among the 22 feature films competing for the Cannes Film Festival’s highest honor, the Palme d’Or, in 2025.
Who is the musical guest for ‘Saturday Night Live’ on Dec. 13?
Joining O’Connor as the musical guest for his “SNL” debut is singer Lily Allen, whose much-talked-about fifth album, “West End Girl,” came out on Oct. 24. It will be the English Grammy-nominated artist’s second time appearing as the show’s musical guest.
Allen last performed on the show on Feb. 3, 2007.

How to watch ‘Saturday Night Live’ on Dec. 13
All episodes of “SNL” premiere Saturday nights at 11:30 p.m. ET on NBC. Those wanting to stream the show live can do so with a Peacock premium subscription, or stream new episodes the next day with a basic Peacock subscription.
Hulu + Live TV subscribers, or anyone with a streaming service that offers live TV capabilities, can also stream the show live on Saturday nights.
The show will be available to stream with a regular Hulu subscription Sunday, the day after a new episode airs.
