With a temperature of 7 degrees and a wind chill of -9 at kickoff, the Cincinnati Bengals said the NFL Week 15 game against the Baltimore Ravens was the coldest in Paycor Stadium history.
The team revised its statement a short time later, indicating that the temperature actually was 10 degrees, meaning it did not break a Paycor Stadium record of 9 degrees.

Pro Football Talk wrote that the Bengals didn’t remove snow from stadium seats, calling it an apparent violation of league policy. The Bengals responded as follows, when reached for comment by PFT: “Seat aisles were prioritized and are in good shape. Seats are easily wiped off and ushers are equipped to help there.”
The Freezer Bowl, the 1981 AFC Championship between the Bengals and San Diego Chargers in Cincinnati, is considered the coldest game in NFL history.
Despite the conditions, more than 46,000 fans were at Riverfront Stadium for the game.
