Broncos practice without Pat Bryant for a second-consecutive day

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Broncos wide receiver Pat Bryant missed a second-consecutive day of practice as preparations for Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers continued.
Bryant played last Sunday in Las Vegas despite landing on the injury report Dec. 4 due to a hamstring injury that left him limited in practice on the Thursday and Friday leading up to the game.
Despite dealing with the hamstring issue, Bryant was second among Broncos wide receivers with 32 yards on four receptions in the 24-17 win. Since the start of November, he ranks second on the team in receiving yardage, trailing only Courtland Sutton in that span.
Bryant was the only Broncos player on the 53-player roster not seen on the field at the start of practice.
Defensive lineman D.J. Jones and tight end Nate Adkins each practiced for a second-straight day. Jones had a full workload Wednesday in his return after missing last week due to an ankle injury suffered Nov. 30 at Washington; Adkins saw limited work Wednesday in his first practice since incurring a knee injury in the fourth quarter of the Oct. 26 win over the Dallas Cowboys.
BRONCOS CONTINUE TO RAMP UP BEN POWERS
Left guard Ben Powers took individual drills with his fellow offensive linemen once again after the Broncos designated him for return from injured reserve Wednesday.
Powers has not played since Week 5 due to a torn biceps muscle. Matt Peart started one game in place of him before landing on injured reserve due to a torn medial collateral ligament; Alex Palczewski has been the starter at left guard for the last seven contests.
The Broncos have until Dec. 31 to decide whether to activate Powers to the 53-player roster.
