Packers’ Micah Parsons ruled out after suffering non-contact knee injury vs. Broncos

Green Bay Packers pass rusher Micah Parsons suffered a non-contact knee injury in the third quarter of Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos and has been ruled out.

Parsons was streaking in on a blitz and tried to contain quarterback Bo Nix when he took an awkward step, immediately grabbed at his knee and went down. He was helped to the locker room with his arm around a trainer.

Green Bay was leading, 23-21, at the time of Parsons’ departure, though Denver was driving and scored a touchdown to go up 27-23 shortly after.

The four-time Pro Bowler had two tackles, a pass deflection and the forced fumble before getting hurt. He’s helped transform the Packers defense this season with 12.5 sacks heading into Sunday’s contest.
