Australian Turf Club in administration after Racing NSW intervention

The Australian Turf Club has been placed into administration by the state’s racing regulator three months after it was asked to show how it planned to improve its financial position and tackle corporate governance issues.

The industry’s controlling body, led by chief executive Peter V’landys, took action on Monday, replacing ATC chairman Tim Hale and board directors with an administrator and a soon-to-be-established committee.
