Belcoo’s Brendan Dolan wins PDC Darts opener

Belcoo’s Brendan Dolan won his opening match at the PDC World Darts Championship in London on Monday with a three sets to one victory over English qualifier Tavis Dudeney.
After a shaky start in the opening leg, Dolan (ranked No 39 in the world) won the opening two sets including this 170 checkout below.
Dudeney, appearing in his first World Championship, railled to win the third set – but Dolan eventually closed out the match in set four, winning it by three legs to two.
He will now play the No 20 seed, Ryan Searle, in round two on Saturday.
Dolan was a quarter-finalist at the Worlds two seasons ago, when he lost out to Luke Littler in the last eight.
