Here’s a first look at Dick Wolf’s “FBI” offshoot series, “CIA,” which brings a new odd couple to TV.
The first trailer shows by-the-book FBI Special Agent Bill Goodman (“Chicago Med” star Nick Gehlfuss) teamed with roguish CIA case officer Colin Glass (“Lucifer” star Tom Ellis) in a clandestine CIA/FBI task force.
Together the oddly matched duo will work New York City covert operations, uncovering international plots, terrorist cells and geopolitical secrets for the CBS series starting Feb. 23 (10 ET/PT).
The story description states: “Bill will learn the rules of this murky world on the fly as Colin leads him deeper into spy games where only one thing is clear − their work keeps America safe, even if no one will ever know what they did in the shadows.”
The “CIA” cast includes Necar Zadegan as the deputy chief of station and Natalee Linez as CIA analyst Gina.
The new trailer will air during the “FBI” Season 8 two-part fall finale on Dec. 15.
