Did the first ‘Avengers: Doomsday’s trailer leak?

Like a bloated dead body floating down the river, the first teaser trailer for Avengers: Doomsday may have leaked on the internet.
The first apparent tease, which sure looks real but in the age of artificial intelligence slop we’ll caveat as possibly fake, shows Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers holding a baby and the promise of his return in the upcoming Avengers Marvel cosmic gumbo that will seemingly wave a magic wand and make you forget everything that came out from the studio after Avengers: Endgame except for the Spider-Man movie with all the Spider-Men.
Like Thanos once chirped at the Avengers: “You could not live with your own failure. Where did that bring you? Back to me.” Marvel Studios failed miserably to establish any sense of excitement or cohesion after Endgame, so they’re clearly just trying to play the hits to make the general audience care about any of this cinematic universe again.
Outside of riding the coattails of great directors like Ryan Coogler, James Gunn and Sam Raimi, what has Marvel organically done to make any of this worth your time since the pandemic? Deadpool and Wolverine doesn’t even count; that’s not a real MCU movie, people. Thunderbolts, we guess? This entire franchise has crashed into the sea.
WARNING: SPOILERS FROM THE APPARENT LEAK AHEAD!
It’s why bringing Evans back as Steve Rogers, backing up the Brink’s truck to Robert Downey Jr.’s house to play Dr. Doom and re-hiring the Russos to direct this two-part Avengers venture feels so desperate. This whole shindig is going to be caping for a time not that long ago as if it’s some sort of lost relic of the past. Pandering for 2019 nostalgia in the 2020s is a kind of shameless that you, as a fan, should feel insulted by, to be perfectly honest.
Marvel Studios thinks as much of you as to basically regurgitate the Infinity Stone saga in lesser clothes and sell it to you as some sort of major cinematic event… all while re-releasing Avengers: Endgame in theaters next year, too.
If you want to watch what looks like the teaser that should attach to Avatar: Fire and Ash this week, you can do so at this link. However, Disney will probably pull this down ASAP, so get on it soon if you wish. We’re deeply unconvinced any of this is going to be worth engagement; you can watch a pretty great three-hour movie with Captain America, Iron Man, Thor and the whole gang on Disney+ whenever you want called Avengers: Endgame. The real Doomsday here is reanimating this recently departed corpse for shameless brand management.
When will the Avengers: Doomsday trailer come out?
The official version? We think it’ll be attached to Avatar: Fire and Ash which drops this week.
