EASTENDERS has finally revealed Zoe Slater’s secret – or at least one of them – by confirming the identity of one of her twins.
The troubled barmaid – who is played by actress Michelle Ryan in the BBC soap – returned to Walford earlier this year after 20 years away.

A flashback scene previously revealed that Zoe had given birth to twins in 2006 before fleeing the hospital after the apparent death of her daughter.
However tonight it was confirmed that her daughter didn’t die – and that she’s already in Walford.
The mystery has been one of several wrapped around Zoe’s return including who the father of the twins is and what happened to Zoe’s son.
Tonight’s episode – which is now airing on BBC iPlayer – has confirmed two of those secrets.

Viewers watched as Jasmine was taken in for police questioning for pushing Cindy Beale down some stairs last month – and there part of the truth emerged.
“I was adopted,” replied Jasmine calmly as the police pointed out there was no record of her parents.
Meanwhile at the hospital, Anthony Trueman was blackmailing a colleague at a hospital into giving him details of Zoe’s twins.
He worked out from the dates that he was the father – and then he was hit by a bombshell of his own.
It turns out that Zoe’s daughter didn’t die – she was resuscitated after Zoe fled meaning both the twins survived.
“I came to Walford to find my biological mother,” Jasmine said, pulling out a newspaper cutting of Zoe surviving the shooting.
“That’s her, Zoe Slater,” she added.
But what happened to Zoe’s son? And is Jasmine the one terrorising her mother? Or is someone else out there wanting revenge?
