ST. IGNACE, Mich. (WLUC) – UPDATE: In a text message, the Mackinac Bridge Authority says the bridge has reopened.
“The recent emergency incident on the bridge has been cleared,” the authority said.

MDOT reports that the Mackinac Bridge is closed.
TV6 called the Mackinac Bridge Authority, who confirmed there is an “active situation” but said they could not comment further.
The authority sent out the following text message:

TV6 also called the Mackinac County Sheriff’s Office, who said they did not have any information to share.
TV6 also left phone messages with the Michigan State Police.
